Responsible for the technical solution of proposals. Define solutions by understanding the RFP, Inputs from the Sales team, interaction with the customer's technical team. Apart from this, the role should effectively support sales team and business team in the entire liaison required for business/sales related meetings and pursuits and ensure order wins :
Responding to client requests: Responses to clients could include informal responses, pointers to publications, collaterals or other references or take more specific forms like responses to proposals including Request for Proposal (RFPs), Request for Information (RFI) and specific Statement of Work (SoW) or Work Orders
Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers' met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and ensure a deal's "technical close" by interaction with customer's technical staff
Supporting client visits: * Visiting clients and/or making presentations: Engaging clients by making presentations, meeting with clients to discuss specific aspects of initiatives, to get a better understanding of the context in order to make specific recommendations in proposals. This may also include preparing proof-of-concept demonstrations and solution mockups.
Competitor Analysis and market scanning:. The analysis could include using online tools, subscribing and analyzing research reports, analyst studies, market research data etc.
Sales Support: Supporting sales and account teams in responding to general client queries about solutions and capabilities. This could include partnering with onsite/client facing Sales or Business Development Managers to identify and convert prospects into customers.
Interfacing with other internal groups (within the organization) while responding to client requests. Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support. Work with Solution Definition team and marketing team to help documenting the packages
Support Reusable asset creations like building capability document, case studies etc. To coordinate with the project team to understand their project features for building case studies. Prepares Proposal Defense presentations by doing effective competitor analysis summarizing the proposal, proper usage of text, graphics, and coordination. Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to
